Ruby that scales^™

Status update July 16, 2010:

Since the beginning of 2010 we've switched from 1.8.6 to 1.8.7, from RbYaml to libyaml + Psych, and implemented a C FFI. We've started work on running Rails 3. For more info see the README in our Rails example.
